To get your Aadhaar card made, all the following documents are compulsory. If by chance you forget any of the documents, your appointment would be cancelled and another date would be given. Therefore be alert while collecting all the documents at one place. 

  • Drivers license
  • Election card
  • Pan card
  • Passport
  • A photograph which is identified by an institution
  • Phone bill
  • Electricity bill
  • Gas bill

Verification steps

Verification is a very crucial steps to be completed as soon as you receive your Aadhaar card. If you don’t verify your card, it is possible that any second person can use a duplicate card of yours. Therefore, please remember to verify the unique identification card through the following steps:-

  • Go to https://resident.uidai.net.in//aadhaarverification 
  • Enter your Aadhaar card number in the box given on the page.
  • Enter the security code it asks for
  • Click on the verify option and wait for few seconds.
  • And your Aadhaar card has been successfully verified.
